  • Discount Stock Brokers
Read this section to learn about the various discount stock brokers serving stock traders in your area. Some stock brokers welcome international investors and some only serve in certain countries. You can visit each brokers website (from TradeWiser) for answers to any questions you may have. We stay as up-to-date as possible, but brokers do change and update their services from time to time, and a quick email to a broker's support staff is highly recommended if their website leaves you needing more information.

  • Prop Trading Brokers
Proprietary Stock Trading Firms provide the tools and capital for stock traders and in return receive a portion of the traders earnings. Many traders trade from the firms corporate offices alongside other traders, but some firms also work with traders who trade remotely from virtually anywhere. Most firms require you fund your account but you then have access to more trading capital than your own. A Series 7 license is required, and if you don't have one the firm you join will sponsor you for the nessacary licenses. Firm practices and policies vary widely. Be sure you ask questions if you don't see everything spelled out.
